Born to a family of music enthusiasts in the heart of New Orleans, Jim George discovered his passion for rhythm at an early age. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant sounds of jazz, blues, and soul, he was drawn to the beat that echoed through the streets of the musical city.

Jim's journey with the drums began when he stumbled upon an old drum set in his neighbor's garage. From that moment, he knew that his destiny was to be the heartbeat of the music. Self-taught and driven by an insatiable hunger for rhythm, Jim spent countless hours honing his craft, experimenting with beats and concepts that would later form his signature style.

From smoky rock clubs to lively blues bars, Jim's drumming became the driving force behind many bands’ success.

Jim's musical journey took him beyond the borders of New Orleans. He toured nationally with various bands, leaving his mark on every stage he touched. His dynamic drumming style seamlessly blended traditional rhythms with modern flair, earning him accolades from both audiences and fellow musicians.
